NAPOLEONIC FRENCH CARABINIERS

Before they were dressed as white coated Cuirassiers the Carabiniers were uniformed as a type of Grenadier a Cheval, forming part of Nansouty’s division they fought in all the great campaigns. Trumpeters wore reversed colours of red faced blue.
